Hat Sizing

The Winter Hat is one size fits all but will easily fit the entire range of head sizes in the standard measurement chart shown below (S - XXL). With the stretchy nature of the woven knit, it's very accommodating for everyone from youth to adult head sizes. It's even fine a few inches beyond the largest standard size (USA 8 / 25.5"), it will just be more of a beanie / formed fit if worn fully on the head.

Remember, exact fit will depend on factors such as how you wear it (slight tilt to side or back VS fully on). It will also depend on how much hair you're trying to fit under it! The sizing chart below will give you a rough idea of fit based on wearing it fully on your head (no tilt to back or to the side). The average head size for women is 7 1⁄4 (U.S. sizing). An average head size for men is size 7 3⁄8 (using U.S. sizing), 58 cm (using European sizing) or 7 1⁄8 (using UK sizing). Of course, head sizes and shapes can also differ from country to country.

How to Measure your Head

Take a measuring tape and place it around the circumference of the head, slightly above the ears. If you don't have a flexible or fabric tape measure you can use string, or even a shoe lace, make note of where it touches, remove it from your head, and then measure the distance flat on a surface.
